What I thought about this novel......
I must say this was a different kind of read for me but after reading this whole short novella it wasn't bad at all. The reader will find that we have a 'trans' women with her daughter trying to live a ordinary life in a new place after a horrible divorce. The story mainly centers around the daughter having a love for horses and the mom trying to give her what she had promised her ...horse lessons in their new place they were now living. Who knew that the mom Melody would meet a horse trainer Derrick who showed interest in her. Would he be able to except Melody's after he learns more about what has gone on with Melvin....I mean Melody? This and a few more questions will be answered from the short enlighten read.
